Getting the Next Generation Trained-Up!

Over the past week, we have taken a lot of kids fishing both on float trips and walk-wade trips. We love love  teaching fly-fishing to the next generation of anglers because fishing with young anglers is a ton of fun, and it is so important for the future of our sport. Of course, we go out there to target fish, but there is so much more to a fishing trip in Yellowstone Country than just casting to fish. We see tons of wildlife (thankfully no bears so far this summer while actually fishing), the geology of this place is amazing, and memories are built. I find it very humbling and wildly fun to be a part of when a young angler catches a fish on the fly for the first time with mom or dad watching... It is a pretty cool experience. Anyway, the young-bloods not only fished hard this past week, but they hooked into some amazing fish!

Remember, kids 12 and under need a life jacket on at all times during float trips! Tight Lines!
