RATES AND TERMS

 

Full Day Float Trips (one or two anglers per guide):

  • $495 per guide - Drift boat/fishing raft float trips - include all flies, leaders, rods (if necessary), cold (non-alcoholic) beverages, an expert guide, and a delicious stream side lunch.

  • Trips are generally 8 hours in length

Half-Day Float Trips (one or two anglers per guide):

  • $395 per guide - Drift boat/fishing raft float trips - include all flies, leaders, rods (if necessary), cold (non-alcoholic) beverages, and an expert guide (lunch not included).

  • AM and PM half-day options are available. Trips are generally 4 hours in length.

Full Day Walk-wade Trips (one or two anglers per guide):

  • $495 per guide - Walk wade trips - include all flies, leaders, rods (if necessary), cold (non-alcoholic) beverages, an expert guide, and a delicious stream side lunch.

  • Trips are generally 8 hours in length

  • $100 per additional angler. With adult groups of 4 or 5, we strongly recommend hiring another guide to ensure quality instruction. When families are fishing with kids we can take a walk-wade trip with as many as 5 anglers/per 1 guide in Yellowstone National Park.

half Day Walk-wade Trips (one or two anglers per guide):

Other Possible Expenses to Remember:

  • Guide Gratuities- Always greatly appreciated, but not required. Your guide works hard. Please consider gratuities if you enjoy your experience, gain new knowledge, and think your guide has earned a tip ( full-day average $100-$120 per guide , half-day average $50-$70 - we recommend cash).

  • wader/boot rental (These can be rented for $30.00/pair and your guide will bring them to you the morning of your trip!)

  • Montana Fishing License

  • Y.N.P Fishing licenses

  • Y.N.P Entrance Pass

  • Private Ranch rod fees - for trips scheduled to private spring creeks or private lakes rod fees may apply (the fees range from $40 to $120 depending on the time of year).

 

Payment options

In order to reserve the date(s) of your trip, we require a 50% deposit at the time of your booking (outside of 60 days of your trip, within 60 days, Full payment is due IMMEDIATELY). Payment can be made via personal check,  cashier’s check, money order , electronic wire transfer, VENMO or any major credit card through our secure SQUARE system. All card charges have an added 3.5% card fee. If this is an issue, please pay via VENMO or put a personal check in the mail; the Pony Express will get it here safely! Checks should be made out to Yellowstone River Outfitters and mailed to us at 420 North 11th Street Livingston, MT 59047.

 

Cancellation Policy
In case of a cancellation, the deposit is fully refundable less a $100 processing fee if the cancellation is received prior to 60 days of the trip date. Cancelation requests within 60 days of the trip will not be made on payments. Montana weather is often variable, trips are not cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. If you are at all concerned with the cancellation possibility, we strongly encourage you to purchase trip insurance.

Trip Insurance
UNFORESEEN events do arise and travel insurance is pretty reasonable. There are many good travel insurance companies, but Travelguard as a good option.  You can either complete the online quote on their website or call one of their agents at 1-800-826-4919. Also, Allianz is another travel insurance company that offers competitive rates. It is the clients responsibility to purchase trip insurance and communicate with the insurance company if cancelations do arise.
